Start with your own measurements.
Use a soft measuring tape and keep it comfortably close to the body without pulling it tight. For a consistent result, measure over lightweight clothing and keep the tape level.
Chest
Measure around the fullest part of the chest while keeping the tape level across the back.
Waist
Measure around your natural waistline while keeping the tape relaxed and parallel to the floor.
Hips
Measure around the fullest part of the hips and seat while standing naturally.
Inseam
Measure from the top of the inner leg to the point where you want the trouser hem to sit.
Sleeve
Measure from the shoulder point along the arm to your preferred cuff position.

Tops, Shirts & Layers
Chest measurement is usually the strongest starting point. Consider how you intend to layer the piece and whether the product is designed for a closer or more relaxed fit.
Pants & Trousers
Use waist and hip measurements together, then check inseam or garment length where available. If you are between measurements, consider the intended cut of the style.
Belts, Hats & Wearable Accessories
Measure the area where the item will naturally sit. For belts, measure around the position where you wear the belt. For hats, measure around the fullest part of the head.
Bags & Luggage
Bags and luggage are best compared by their listed width, height and depth rather than clothing size. Review the dimensions to make sure the capacity and scale suit your needs.
